We send your orders by UPS, Royal Mail, Parcel force or myHermes if you are having your order delivered to the following countries Italy, Spain, Hungary, Cyprus, Croatia,Malta, Portugal.
Please note: An average will be given when you check out with any differences in price refunded as soon as possible.

Q: How long will it take to dispatch my order?
A: Maximum within 2 business working days to dispatch your order.
Q: How long will it take to ship my order?
A: UK: We use the courier service myhermes who will deliver your order normally in 3-5 business days.
International: We use the Royal Mail and other courier's service for oversea countries,
ship by International signed for, Delivery aim to 5-7 business days.
Custom knife ordering
Q: What is difference between Single blade knives and Double blade knives?
A: Single blade knives are traditional Japanese one-side edged knife (KATABA).
Double Blade knives are mostly Western style knives that have the same bevel on both
The Japanese knives that we sell are intended for right handed users, if you wish to buy
a knife that can be used with the left hand please let us know by e mail and we will order
it in for you.
We can also order in longer knives so if you would like to purchase one please contact us
Q: What if my knife is not sharp enough?
A: Please refer to our After Care page http://www.kataba.co.uk/after-care/
we recommend that you sharpen your knife using a whetstone.
If you would like to request any of our sharpening, repairing or handle
replacement services for knives which you have bought from us, please contact
us first by email with a picture of the knife which needs servicing and we will
send you a quote for the price of these services.
